We, as METU Sports Directorate,

We help METU students and members to be healthy, socially active, self-confident successful individuals with the pride and honor of being a METU student, by ensuring that physical education and sports activities are planned and in accordance with the standards, to promote our university with the exemplary behavior and attitudes of our sports teams, and to promote our university in all respects. We make an important contribution to improving the quality of life of our users.

Our Duties;

• To ensure the maintenance of our sports facilities inside and outside the campus
• To provide the most suitable environment for the training / competitions and events of our sports teams and communities
• To provide an environment where all METU members can do healthy sports and to offer diversity
• To encourage our members to do sports for a healthy life

• To have sufficient sports fields and necessary materials

• Working with sufficient personnel in terms of quality and quantity.

• To provide our teams with services such as transportation, accommodation and nutrition in and out of Ankara at a quality befitting our students.

• Strengthening the reward/scholarship system to support successful athletes financially and morally.

• Improving our facilities

• To create the necessary sports programs and opportunities for our students and members to do more sports.

• Contributing to the new sports facilities to be built at our university with our knowledge and experience.

• To make our employees love their jobs and to work with people who love their jobs.
